Sony Photos has launched the primary trailer for Madame Internet, its upcoming Spider-Man spin-off film starring Dakota Johnson. The Fifty Shades of Gray star performs Cassandra Webb within the origin story for the Marvel hero.
The film is described as a “suspense-driven thriller.” Webb is a paramedic in Manhattan who has the facility of clairvoyance. “Compelled to confront revelations about her previous, she forges a relationship with three younger girls destined for highly effective futures…if they’ll all survive a lethal current,” reads a line from the film’s description. Along with Johnson, Madame Internet stars Sydney Sweeney, Emma Roberts, Isabela Merced, and Celeste O’Connor in most important roles, together with Adam Scott.
Madame Internet is directed by SJ Clarkson, who is thought for her work directing episodes of Succession and Jessica Jones. She additionally directed the Sport of Thrones spin-off pilot that HBO handed on.
